Introduction
Jim and Sandy Jones were a typical family of four. They had two children, a ten-year-old son and a seven-yearold daughter. As is so common in these times, they both worked: Mr. Jones was a plumber and Mrs. Jones sold real estate. Mrs. Jones was the primary driver of the family car. Besides using the vehicle to take clients to view houses, she was also Mom’s Taxi Service: she chauffeured the children to school, ballet lessons, Little League Baseball, and many other activities. |
Mr. and Mrs. Jones Go Shopping
Mr. and Mrs. Jones decided it was time to replace the family car. They decided to buy a new car, rather than a used car, so that they could enjoy the wonderful feeling of troublefree transportation. After visits to several dealers, they settled on the car of their choice, a Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV), and negotiated the purchase price. This was their first new vehicle; it should have been an exciting event. They picked up their brand-new vehicle the next day.
