Nissan GT-R tire tread Problem
December 24, 2009 By: Lemon Law Category: Nissan

The Nissan GT-R is one of the best cars on the road, a dream car for a driver in love with the speed and performance. Unfortunately, that smooth ride starts to shake pretty quickly, as a result of a problem with the inside of the tread of tires.

Normally, run-flat tires have very hard walls, essential for maintaining tire shape, improving the leadership, agility and ride comfort. They are filled with nitrogen rather than conventional air. The Nissan GT-R tires exceptionally flexible walls, which prevents the pressure change during high speed driving.

In the case of cars in line Editor Scott Oldham, the alignment of performance that increases the grip the car also accelerates the wear of the front tires. A Nissan engineer Scott reported that a normal set of these tires only last 12,000-15,000 miles. We believe that this is unacceptable. If you are experiencing problems with the Nissan GT-R tires, please click here to let us know about their experiences. We may be able to help get some remedy for the situation.

Earlier this month, we reported the problem involving sudden acceleration in some Toyota and Lexus. In the past, the manufacturer was blaming the issue on floor mats, but after more than 2000 cases were reported by the National Highway Traffic and Safety Administration, there was little doubt, of fear in the minds of many drivers. It is almost certain that the situation would also affect future sales of the strongest brands in the country of the car.

As you might expect, Kimmel & Silverman is well aware of the situation, already at very few consumers who complained of sudden acceleration in their Toyota and Lexus models to their dealers.

The Associated Press reports that Toyota is now replace the accelerator pedal about 4 million vehicles recalled. The models affected are 2007-2010 model year Toyota Camry, 2005-2010 Toyota Avalon, 2007-2009 Toyota Prius hybrid vehicle, 2005-2010 Toyota Tacoma, 2007-2010 Toyota Tundra, 2007-2010 Lexus ES350, Lexus and 2006-2010 IS250 and IS 350 models.

The withdrawal was due to a high speed accident involving the death of an officer of the California Highway Patrol and his family when their vehicle loan, driving the speed exceeded 120 mph, struck an SUV, out of an embankment and burst into flames. A 911 call was placed because the incident was happening when a passenger made reference to the fact that he got the gas. This recall is the largest in the history of the manufacturer.
