While a secondhand car is sold with a written guarantee and specific, that qualify under California's Lemon Law. The car should not have been purchased for commercial purposes. As with all other applications of vehicles, the California Used Car Lemon Law only covers a used car he bought for personal, family or household.
Care must be taken to have defects and the car's inherent problems introduced by a certified mechanic at the time of purchase. While the repair attempt took place at the specified warranty period, a vehicle rented or purchased are eligible for California used car Lemon Law, even after that period.
Basically, you can get a refund or complete, satisfactory remedy for a second-hand vehicle purchased or leased as easily as you can for a new car, while the vehicle was purchased used for private, noncommercial use. Second-hand cars are not the only vehicles covered by the California Used Car Lemon Law. It also applies to recreational vehicles (RVs), caravans of all types, motorcycles, boats and other vehicles.
